I enjoy dwelling in the fondest memories of my past relationships, i’ve been so incredibly lucky. I’ve had the pleasure of being in love for the first time with an amazing human being. So smart, so challenging, and the quintessential first love. This is for you Justin, you’ve taught me so much in those four years, things that i’ll carry with me forever. You taught me how to love someone with everything that i’ve got. You’ve taught me how to pick and choose my battles, for not all are created equal and not all deserve my might and strength. You taught me how to let go and be patient, for you were always late. You taught me how to relinquish my controlling ways, and stuck with me through all the “type-a” nonsense I carried with me. I’ll never forget the time we spent together, and I can look back at our “puppy love” and say that I wouldn’t have chosen anyone else to be my first. You are incredible, and I truly wish you all the best in your life, you deserve the utmost happiness. Everything truly does happen for a reason, and I’d never be where I am now if it weren’t for you. Although you weren’t my last, I’m so grateful that you were my first.
